Slackers: The Real Definition

The dictionary states that "a slacker is a person who avoids work or effort," but what is the actual meaning of this? A slacker who avoids certain task has a reason behind it. Some do it because their work is no longer being recognized. They put off their work to the side in hopes that the next person will finish it. Many just go through life seeing what they can get away with.
When assigned a certain task, they do as little as they can without any motivation. A slacker doesn't have many motives in life, therefor take every responsibility carelessly .
